For Christmas my husband and I decided to give the kids a trip to Disneyland as our gift. It has been a couple years since the 5 of us have been at a Disney park together. So we wanted to enjoy some time at Disneyland together as a family. My kids have been super excited to visit Galaxy’s Edge and as parents, we couldn’t wait to see their faces when they entered the land.
As per my usual Disney trip planning, custom Disney shirts were in order. I made my son these DIY Star Wars Shirts so I of course needed to make a little something special for my daughters. Especially since these little beauties were headed to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on this trip. They too needed special shirts for this fun trip. I made sure each girl had their favorite princess crown on their shirt.
To make these princess in training shirts you will need:
Cricut Maker or other cutting machine

I made Elsa and Aurora for my daughters, and then added a few more crowns so you can find one your little princess will love.
How to Make a Disney Princess Shirt
Upload the cut files into Cricut Design Space. Not sure how to do that? See this You Tube video on How to upload an SVG into Cricut Design Space. The designs will open on the canvas. You will be able to resize the designs to the desired size. You could also turn off any of the designs you don’t want, so you are only making the princess in taining design you want.
When you’re ready to cut the design, click make it and make sure to mirror image the design when using iron-on vinyl. Continue to select the cutting machine and material. Place the iron-on vinyl shiny side down on the cutting mat. Load into the machine and press the blinking go button.
Unload the mat once it’s done cutting then load the second mat with your second color of iron on vinyl. If you decide to do 2 different colors like I did. Weed the unwanted vinyl, leaving the design on the plastic carrier sheet. The design will be backwards. Flip it over so the plastic carrier sheet is on top and place the vinyl onto your shirt.
Heat your EasyPress to correct settings for your project. Use the EasyPress and with some light pressure, press the design to the shirt. Remove the plastic carrier sheet. If some of the vinyl tries to come up with the carrier sheet, lay the carrier sheet down and press the shirt for a few more seconds.
