Free Printable Holiday Gift Tag Flags

It’s the last week of school and I’ve been trying to figure out what to get my kids teachers this year.  I wanted to give them something cute but that they would also love.  Before I even knew what I wanted to give to them, I created these fun free printable holiday gift tag flags.  Once I had them created, I thought of ways I could use them in my gift giving this year.  Of course, they would be put to use in my teacher gifts.

There are all kinds of colors and designs of these holiday gift tag flags.  They all print out on one sheet and you just have to cut them out.

The first way I wanted to use them was in a sweet little succulent plant.  Are you guys as crazy about these right now as I am?  They are seriously so cute!  Plus they are not much money to make.  I bought the mini pots at Michaels and the small succulent plants at Home Depot.  I painted my pots and once they were dry, I planted the plant.  I cut a striped straw in half and glued a holiday gift tag flag onto the end.  Then just stuck it into the plant!  It is ready for gifting as is.

If you wanted to do something a little extra, add a gift card to your pot.  I just used one of those plastic prong card holders you see in flower arrangements and broke it off at the bottom so it was shorter.  I taped my gift card to the prong end and inserted it into the pot.  This is a fun idea to give a gift card to teachers, co workers and friends this year.

Teachers need pens and pencils right?  I found these super cute pens and pencils in the dollar section at Target.  How cute do these tags look on them?

You could help your son or daughter make a pencil cup using an old (but clean) soup can by covering it with scrapbook paper.  Add the pens and pencils with the holiday gift tag flags and your gift is ready!

I even decided to use one of the holiday gift tag flags to tie around a sweet treat.
