My Mr. C had a birthday this week! He turned the big 06. That’s right, 6! I can’t believe I’ve had the privilege to be his momma for these 6 years. He started school this year and really wanted to take his friends in his school class a treat to celebrate. This school birthday treat idea was super simple and super fun!
The school has a policy of no homemade treats for birthdays. Store bought cupcakes are ok but not homemade. So I was really struggling with what to take for his school birthday treat. I asked him what he wanted to take and he said cupcakes and special drinks. Special drinks are what my kids call juice boxes. I couldn’t just leave it simple, I had to do something fun and extra special! So I made up these cards to send with his birthday treats. I thought the kids would love a little knock knock joke humor to end their school day! 🙂
I printed out my cards and cut them apart. I used a glue dot to attach them to the front of the orange flavored juice boxes I found at the store.
I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes from the bakery and had them top the cupcakes with orange frosting to go with our “orange you glad it’s carson’s birthday” theme.
My son was so excited to share his orange treats with his friends! So excited that he forgot the lunch I packed him was in his backpack and he told his teacher he didn’t have any lunch. Oh well, I didn’t have to make him lunch the next morning!
I’m sharing the printable for these school birthday treats with you today. Of course there is a spot for you to fill in your own child’s name.
These print 8 cards to a sheet. Just use the download below. Please remember all printables are for personal use only.
Happy Celebrating!
