Ice Cream Sundae Kit

It is still summer around here and it’s still blazing hot!  AZ gets some crazy monsoon storms that leave the days (and nights) very muggy on top of being hot.  So there is still plenty of time to eat cool treats to try and stay cool.  I needed a fun thank you gift for a family with 4 daughters and thought they might appreciate a cool treat like I do.  I put together a fun ice cream sundae kit so they could make up their favorite combinations.

I really needed to do something special for this group.  They watched my kids ALL DAY one of the days we were moving.  And I mean 9-5 all day.  They swam, they ate lunch, and they played and played and played.  When I finally picked them up, my daughter declared the girls to be her best friends and my son wanted to know if he could go back the next day.  It was a blessing to be able to know my kids were being looked after so well and had so much fun.

Because this family went above and beyond, I wanted to make them something special to say thank you.  I made up some printables to include with my ice cream sundae kit.

Filled up some cute jars with nuts and sprinkles and topped them with the tags.  (I used my 2.5 inch scallop punch for these tags.)

I gathered some fun things to put into the sundae kit.  The ice cream bowls and napkins I found at Target.  And I’m a sucker for those little tiny tester spoons!

I got this drink holder from Sonic (I didn’t know they made 2 drink drink holders, I thought they only made a 4 drink holder) and filled it with all the ice cream sundae kit goodies.

My kids were so excited to go deliver this fun treat to their friends and I have a feeling, their friends were super excited to receive (and eat) it!

I’m sharing the printables with you today so you can put together a fun sundae kit for your friends or neighbors.  They make great thank you gifts, but they would be great for any occasion!
