This homemade peppermint ice cream is so good and makes a great gift for neighbors and friends during the holidays.
You guys know that I am all about simple gift giving during the holidays. I also try and keep my gifts simple to keep from spending a lot of money. Don’t get me wrong, we love our friends and neighbors, but we also want everyone to know we are thinking of them and keeping them simple and inexpensive allow us to spread the love to more people. This year I really wanted to give out homemade peppermint ice cream.
Once I found this paper soup containers with lids at Smart & Final, I knew that peppermint ice cream gift giving was in my future.
And of course a simple gift includes a cute printable tag. I made two different tags to attach to your peppermint ice cream gift. Even if you decide homemade peppermint ice cream isn’t going to work out for you, you can still use one of the tags and attach it to some store bought peppermint ice cream. I know I would love that! 🙂
You can download the tags for personal use, using the links below:

Right before I was ready to deliver to our neighbors, I tied my containers with cute ribbon and the tags. I think they turned out so cute!!
I wanted to make this as easy a gift as I could. I found a no churn peppermint ice cream recipe at A Family Feast. It took literally 10 minutes to whip together. It is such an easy recipe. Once I put the ice cream into my containers, I froze them for about 6 hours before I delivered them.
