Autumn Word Search for kids

Have fun with your kids and welcome the season with this free printable Autumn word search for kids.

I’m so excited for Autumn.  It’s finally starting to cool down here in Phoenix.  We are actually able to wear boots and scarves in the evenings.  Our leaves aren’t changing colors, or falling off the trees yet, but soon they will and we will be ready.  I’m planning to take the kids to a pumpkin patch sometime in November and enjoy all the fun that comes with fall.  So in honor of my favorite season, I created a fun Autumn word search.

I used all the words that remind me of fall.

This word search was a little hard for my 7 year old son, but he was able to find some of the smaller words on his own.  And with a little help from mom, he found some of the harder words.  So if you have kids ages 8 – 12, I think this would be a fun activity for them.

My daughter can’t read yet, but still wanted to do this activity.  She just ended up circling random letter groups.  She had fun doing it too!
