Today I have the perfect treat for Root Beer lovers.
A Root Beer Float Sundae!
This sundae is all about the Root Beer Syrup.
Which is easy to make, it just takes a little time.
Here is how you make it:
4 cups of Root Beer
1/3 cup of sugar
In a sauce pan on High heat, add your Root Beer and your sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved and it comes to a boil. Turn the heat to low and let it simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes stirring occasionally. The mixture should reduce and become a syrup. You can store it in the fridge for a couple weeks.
We couldn’t wait to pour it over some vanilla ice cream.
Well the kids couldn’t wait!
Topped with some whipped cream and cherry,
it is a perfect summer treat!
It’s a fun twist on the usual chocolate sundae.
We sure enjoyed this Root Beer dessert and hope you will too!
Happy Cooking!
