Oh boy do I have a recipe for you today!!
It includes one of my MOST favorite things… CARAMEL!
My mom makes these Caramel Oatmeal bars and they are TO DIE FOR! I made them a couple weeks ago when we had some friends over for dessert. They all were huge fans and wanted the recipe. And we joked how this is a “healthy” recipe. It does have oatmeal in it!! 🙂
I could not believe how simple these were to make. Like with any baking, it just takes a little prep work and time, but they were super easy.
Look at all that yumminess in the center of these bars!
It calls for 1/2 cup of chopped nuts.
I used pecans because that is what I like.
You could use walnuts if you like those better.

I let mine cool for a little bit before I cut them. After all, I didn’t want all of that delicious caramel oozing out all over the place before I had a chance to indulge!

These look so good! The recipe just says nuts. Are those pecans or walnuts? It’s hard to tell from the picture.
