AZ Pinterest Party ReCap

Of course the theme was all about pinterest!
Everyone was supposed to bring a pinterest inspired craft to work on and bring a pinterest inspired food to share.

Well the party was on a saturday afternoon.
The entire week before the party I was at the beach.  We were going to be coming home on saturday.  I really wanted to attend, not to just get my craft on, but to meet some fun people and socialize with other bloggers.  So we left the beach on saturday morning and by saturday afternoon I was mixing and mingling with these fun ladies!

It was a bit strange to be dropped off by your PARENTS!
My kids and I went with my parents (without my hubby),
so they dropped me off on the way home.
I felt like I was 14 again and I was being dropped off at the mall! 🙂

Anyway, I brought my project to work on, but I left all the things to whip up my pinterest inspired treat in the back of the car and didn’t remember until my parents had already left.  But there was plenty of yummy food, so it turned out ok.  In case you were wondering what I WAS going to make, here it is.

I did get a chance to start a Halloween project.  Here is a sneak peek, since I want to show you the finished project (with tutorial) later.

But mostly I had a great time meeting new friends.  There truly are some amazing, talented and kind people blogging out there.  I’m lucky to have met just a few.
