So when your son says to you, “mommy let’s make a craft”.
What do you a do?
YOU CRAFT!
I was kind of shocked when Mr. C said this to me and instead of brushing him off until a later time,
I got a few things out and we made a craft!
You may have seen this before, but I first saw this kind of craft the day Mr. C
came home from playschool with a project like this.
It was super simple and didn’t cost a thing since I already had all supplies in the house!
I cut up a few pieces of construction paper (it was still out from when I made my banner)
into squares or somewhat squares. 🙂
I drew a picture on a plain white paper and let him use the gluestick and paste the
colored pieces onto the picture.
Check out my awesome artistic skills with that watermelon!
He was loving it! Especially the gluestick!
And there you go! Instant art!
This was a good little project for the 2 of us while little miss napped.
It wasn’t too difficult, and it didn’t take too long.
Plus it was cheap!
The one on the left is a flower and the right is a watermelon.
We had more green left over so he had to use them up!
One thing I love about blogging is that, for me, it makes even the simplest things
(like taking 30 minutes to make a craft with your son),
more fun. Because I get to share our projects with you and I get inspired to do more fun things with the kids from others.
Have a great day!
