Grab the free printables and create a spooky vibe at your Halloween party with this Easy Halloween Tablescape.
Hosting get togethers has become one of my favorite things to do during the holiday season. Although I’m not a huge fan of Halloween, well at least scary Halloween, I do appreciate a few fun Halloween decorations. And I love having any excuse to invite friends and family over. I loved creating this fun, feastive and easy Halloween tablescape.
Easy Halloween Tablescape
This tablescape was inspired by some buffalo check chargers I found at Hobby Lobby. They were in the fall seasonal section, but I thought they would be perfect for a Halloween Tablescape. I found some other supplies and accessories I thought would be fitting on a Halloween table and decided to create a spooky spread.
No holiday tablescape is complete without place cards. I created some free printable Halloween placecards and napkin wraps to help achieve a finished look for my easy Halloween Tablescape.

Creating a Holiday Tablescape
Creating a holiday tablescape can be as simple or extravagant as you make it. For this easy Halloween tablescape, I wanted to keep things fun and simple. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on new chargers, placemats, napkins, decor, etc. I bought a few new items and used other items I already had at home to create this fun tablescape.
Each placesetting on a tablescape does not have to be identical. I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money of the buffalo check chargers, but thought they would add a nice touch to the table. By purchasing a few and spreading them out throughout the place settings, it created a fun look on our tablescape. You will notice how I used spider web placemats, buffalo check chargers and white dinner plates differently around the table, and it still looks fab!
Using things you already have and adding just some finishing touches can really add to any tablescape. I had the pumpkins and black trees from previous Halloween decor purchases in past years. But I loved the black and white spider picks and candy corn floral picks at Hobby Lobby. I used just a couple of those to stretch the length of the centerpiece of my table. And just FYI, I’ve seen those black trees in the dollar section of Target. 😉
Buying nice fabric napkins can get kind of expensive. Use a coupon to buy a yard of fabric that will match your tablescape. Cut it down and create your own napkins. Plus there are more options when it comes to finding something that will match your tablescape.
Creating a Halloween Tablescape doesn’t have to cost a lot. Just adding a few new pieces to things you already have will create a unique fun look for any holiday dinner party.
Happy Hosting!
