Fiesta Party Printables using Print and Cut
To make these Fiesta Party Printables using the Print and Cut feature, you will need:
Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2
To get started, open up Cricut Design Space and create a new project. Click on the upload image button on the menu bar on the left side of the canvas. Upload an image by browsing or dragging and dropping the file. You can choose either a png or svg version of your design. Save the uploaded image and then if should be available in the uploaded images library.
Select the file you want to use for your Fiesta Party Printables and then click continue. The file should open up onto the canvas of Design Space. This is where you can change the color of the layers (if using an svg), make sure all the layers are aligned, and resize the image. A print and cut design can not be larger than 6.75 inches wide and 9.25 inches tall. You can flip a vertical design to be horizontal if needed to fit these measurements.
Once you have the design colored and sized how you want, select all the layers and click the flatten button. The flatten button is on the bottom of the layers panel along the right side of the canvas. Then click make it. It will show you a preview of what the design will look like once it is printed (a black square will show around the design). Click continue and send to your printer and print the design on cardstock.
Place the printed design on the cutting mat, select cardstock as the material to be cut. Load the cutting mat into the Cricut Maker and then hit the green go button when ready to cut. Unload the mat when done, and use the weeding tools and scraper to help remove your cut design from the cutting mat.
