The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays.  I love what it represents to our country and to us as individuals.  To me it means time spent with family, good food and lots of laughter.

It helps too, that I get to decorate and dress with my favorite colors. 🙂 We always have a good time on the Fourth of July.  I just wish it wasn’t so darn hot here.  Luckily every other year or so we get to sneak away from the valley and enjoy some cool mountain air as we celebrate.

Of course when attending any patriotic event, one must dress the part.  These cut files are perfect for creating your own DIY patriotic shirt.

To make a shirt using one of the Fourth of July cut files, you will need:

Cricut Maker or Cutting Machine

Cutting Mat

Iron on vinyl

Weeding Tool

EasyPress 2

EasyPress Mat

Plain Shirts

Fourth of July SVG Cut File Bundle

Making shirts is probably my most favorite way to use SVG files.  Using Iron-On vinyl, I find is the easiest vinyl to use.  It does take some trial and error, but making a custom shirt with the Cricut is really fun.

These cut files are not just for creating shirts, but they would be cute used in you home decor too.  You could use vinyl to create your own stenciled signs.  Or use SVG files to make print and cut designs to frame and hang up around the house.

There are so many ways to use thes Fourth of July SVG files.  And if you love patriotic cut files, make sure to check out this patriotic shirt I made for my daughter a few years ago.

Happy Crafting!
