Use the print and cut function on your Cricut cutting machine to make these free Christmas Stickers.

Is your house sticker obsessed? What about Christmas obsessed? If you answered yes to these two questions, our families should be friends! 🙂

My kids love to cover their notebooks and water bottles with stickers. And I’ve been known to add a few to my water bottle as well. Stickers are just so much fun!

In fact, you can see all the stickers I’ve created and have for sale in my shop. They are super bright, colorful, fun and durable. They have been through the dishwasher several times and still hold up great!

A quick note on these: They are considered weatherproof and waterproof, but I would still be careful when washing them. They can get wet, but don’t soak them in water.

For this project you will need:

Cricut Explore Air 2
Weatherproof Labels
Laminating Sheets

You will also need the free png files for the stickers. You will see the download for these files toward the end of the post.

DIY Christmas Stickers

Open up Cricut Design Space. Open a new project and click on upload image. Upload the Christmas stickers file, they should already be saved with a transparent background, no need to remove any of the background color. And save the file as a print then cut image.

From your uploaded images library, open the stickers onto the canvas in Cricut Design Space. Resize the image to fit the Cricut print and cut sizing. 6.75″ x 9.25″ is the size the image needs to fit into.

Once the sizing is right, click make it and select your Cricut machine. Print the stickers onto your weatherproof label paper, using the best quality your printer can achieve.

Select poster board as the material for cutting in Design Space or adjust the dial on your Explore Air to poster board. Place your printed sticker sheet onto your cutting mat.

Trim your laminating sheet to fit with in the black registration box around your stickers. Apply the laminating sheet with a burnishing tool to remove any air bubbles.

Load the cutting mat into the machine and press the go button. The Cricut will read the registration box and begin cutting.

Unload the mat once it’s done cutting. Carefully remove the excess paper. Remove the stickers from the cutting mat using the spatula tool if needed.
