In case you haven’t noticed, I really enjoy designing cut files. Being able to use my hand lettering skills and take my designs from paper or my iPad and put them onto projects is so amazing to me! Thanks to my hand Cricut cutting machines Cricut cutting machines (yes that’s plural), the possibilities seem endless and I couldn’t love it more.
Not only do I offer free cut files here on the blog, but I also have some super fun cut files in my on-line shop. I’d love for you to check them out and tell me some of your favorites. I know I have a few favorites myself.
I know things are crazy in the world right now. Our new normals mean more time at home and no socializing with friends and neighbors.
Even though we need to take things seriously, it sure is nice to laugh and find the humor when we can. Some other crafty gals and I decided to find the humor in our quarantine situation, and designed some fun Quarantine inspired cut files.
Free Caffeine & Quarantine Cut File
This file actually comes with 4 options of caffeine choice. Because we don’t all share the same vice.
Once opened up in your cut software, you can decide which one you want to use and turn off the layers you don’t want. Then move your choice of beverage to the designated spot. and start cutting.
Check out this post on how to create a custom shirt for a full tutorial on using 2 layers in Cricut Design Space. This is a great tutorial if you are wanting to do 2 different colors of iron on vinyl using these cut files.
My number one tip: Remember to Always cover the vinyl before placing an iron on your design.
