Here is my LAST Harvest/Fall craft project for this year.
Can you believe Thanksgiving is already upon us?
Today I’m sharing my brown paper lunch bag bunting.
The finishing touch for my entryway.
That’s right. It all started with a lunch bag. I cut out the shape I wanted for the bunting and cut all the bags I needed for my banner. Then I used my brown ink pad and inked up the edges to give it a distressed look.
Next I made my accordian rosettes. I cut my scrapbook paper into 4 inch by 12 inch pieces. I started on one of the short ends and folded it accordian style (about 1/4 inch sections). Once it was folded, I folded it in half one way and then the other.
Then I put 2 glue dots on the edge and pulled my edges together until they were stuck. I did the same on the other side as well.
Here is my rosette all finished.
Using more glue dots, I attached them to my lunch bag bunting.
You could always add letters to the top and make a saying.
Like I was planning to do, Give Thanks, but my cricut wasn’t working so it didn’t work out.
Using bakers twine, I just hung my bunting on the twine using the flap on the back of the bag. That way when I take it down, I can stack my bunting easily to store it.
Here is my entryway all finished!
