Today I want to share with you this fun Candy Corn Bunting Banner.
It is really easy and doesn’t cost a lot of money.
In fact most of the supplies you can probably find around your house.
If your a craft supply hoarder like me! 😉
Do you remember that Pinterest Party I went to in September?
Well this is the craft that I started at that party.
Here is how I made it.
I used cereal boxes!
Maybe you don’t have a lot of boxes like we do. 🙂
But these were a great “canvas” to work with.
Don’t forget to cut out the box tops first! 😉
The first thing I did was free hand the shape of my candy corn. I simply used a straight edge to make a triangle and then rounded the corners. I traced my pattern onto my cereal boxes and cut out all my candy corn shapes.
Using acrylic paint, I first painted the orange. I did a light coat because I liked that you could kind of see the card board behind the paint. (It gives it an antiquey feel.) I was going to tape off the sections for the white and yellow paint, but I really liked the free hand look.
Once they were dry, I punch holes in the top corners of the candy corns.
Then I tied them together with some Halloween ribbon.
Easy Peasy!!
If you want to see this banner in all it’s hanging glory, come back tomorrow and see my Candy Corn Faux Mantle.
Happy Crafting!

To cute! My girls will love this project!
Very cute! And using the cereal boxes is resourceful! It also means they’re pretty sturdy. And they look awesome on your “mantel”!
