A few years ago the kids made some fun handprint bouquet cards for spring and for Mother’s Day. I love handprint kid crafts and when I was making these Mother’s Day printable cards, I thought about the handprint bouquet and knew my kids would love to make them again. Plus I love to listen to my son giggle as I paint his hand! 🙂
These Mother’s Day printable cards can be used in many ways. Here is how we used them for our handprint bouquet. I printed out my 2 5×7 cards and trimmed them to size.
I painted the kids entire hand green to make the base of our bouquet.
Then using their fingers and lots of different colors, I let them go about making the flowers. Both my kids love painting and they were so excited I actually let them do this part on their own. I wasn’t sure if my son’s hand was going to fit, but it did!
I created these printables in 2 sizes. 5×7 and 4×5. The 4×5 cards are more of a tented card.
Here are a couple of other ideas you could do with these cards for Mother’s Day.
Have your kids draw a picture of mom, grandma, auntie, etc. I love to see my son’s drawings these days! He draws some pretty funny stuff!
Another fun idea is to attach a cookie or goodie to the front of the card and write your message inside. I made a couple of painted sugar cookies in the shape of tulips and they fit just perfectly on top of the tented cards.
I sure hope our grandmas like hand made cards. Especially ones with handprints on them! (I know they do.) 🙂
I’m sharing these printable cards with you in 4 different colors. Please use these for Personal Use ONLY, no selling or distributing. If you use it on line, please link back to this post. And if you use it, I would love to hear how it turned out!
Each download comes with 2 cards per page.
Happy Printing!
