I don’t know about you guys, but until recently, I never really thought about Duck Tape® and crafting in the same catergory. But now you can find some really cute colors and all kinds of patterns of Duck Tape®. Not only is the selection huge, but you can also buy Duck Tape at Walmart. Making it that much easier to get your hands on some.
I have seen a lot of ideas of back to school projects using Duck Tape®. You can cover folders and binders making cute patterns. You can make sure no one steals your pencils or pens by adding a little Duck Tape® flag at the top. But what I think would be fun to make is something like this Recycled Desk Organizer by Mod Podge Rocks.
How many of us have old cereal boxes and toilet paper or paper towel tubes lying around? (And if you didn’t, how fast could you save some?) I know that at my house, we can go through a couple boxes of cereal really fast. They used cute paper to cover their boxes and tubes to make this project, but you could create something really fun using different patterns and colors of Duck Tape®. This would make a fun homework station for the kids to keep pens, pencils, erasers, extra paper and anything they would need to finish a paper or project. I think the hard part would be narrowing down which rolls of Duck Tape® to use!
While you are at Walmart buying all those school supplies, check out the selection of Duck Tape® and let your kids create something fun with their favorite color/pattern. You can see more Duck Tape® school projects over at DuckBrand.com and follow @TheDuckBrand for more creative inspiration.
