I think as parents it’s hard to feel appreciated by our kids.  Days can be so long and mostly stressful for both parents trying to keep up with work and home.  I know my favorite time of the day is bed time.  And I sometimes feel bad about saying that, but mama needs a break!  I know my husband feels the same too.  And it’s not that we don’t love our kids, they bring us the greatest joy, it’s just that life can get crazy busy and it’s nice to step back and take a breath every once in awhile.

Since Father’s Day is all about Dad, I thought this dad’s favorite things gift idea would be perfect to let daddy know just how much he means to us.  I created these free printables for the kids to color.  I included one large one and several small cards so that each child could write their favorite thing about their dad.  Everyone’s first favorite thing was that daddy loved them.  So that is what we wrote on the big one to wrap it up and give it do dad.
