It’s hard to believe that another school year is close to coming to an end.  We are so lucky to have such great teachers this year that have taught our kids and helped them develop their skills and increase in knowledge.  I love to take every opportunity I can to show my kid’s teachers just how much I appreciate all they do.  Teacher appreciation week is at the beginning of May.  And then the end of our school year is a few weeks after that.  I enjoy giving simple gifts that people will use, but aren’t too expensive.  This teacher gift idea is quick and easy to put together and you just may have everything you need at home.

I am a sucker for the dollar spot at Target and at Michael’s.  I always load up on cute stationary, note pads, note cards and pens and pencils.  I usually have a couple in my stash.  But I found some really cute coordinating things recently and thought they would be perfect for a teacher gift idea.

I think you can never have too many blank note cards and too many pens, especially as a teacher.  So I created a cute printable to attach to note cards or note pads and give to those deserving teachers for Teacher Appreciation day or for an end of the year teacher gift.

I simply wrapped the note cards with some bakers twine and attached my tag.  Then inserted the pen so it would be held in place.  This way of gifting is quick and simple.

To take it just one step further, I decided to place the note cards, sticky note pad and pencils inside a quart size mason jar.  The note cards I did have to bend slightly to fit.

Once everything was in the jar and the lid was back on, I just attached my tag with some baker’s twine and a bow and we are all set!

Such a fun little package that I hope the teachers will enjoy!

I think any gift that they can use, will be much appreciated.

Happy Gifting!
