Reusable Gift Tag

It’s time to start thinking about Christmas!
And all those holiday gifts for our family and friends to celebrate the season.
Today I have for you a fun little project that I whipped up with the help of Mod Podge.
A cute reusable gift tag!
It started out with this box of Mod Podge Podgeable Shapes.  I took out the gift tag shape, traced it onto some scrapbook paper and cut it out.  I cut just inside the lines so that it would fit the back side of my shape and not have any overhang.
Then I used the Mod Podge Rub-On Transfers.  They have sayings for EVERY holiday!  I chose the Merry Christmas and rubbed it onto the bottom of my scrapbook paper tag.
Then I took the Antique Matte Mod Podge and brushed it onto the top of my gift tag.  I didn’t want my finished product to be too shiny since it was going behind the podgeable shape.  Then I quickly added my podgeable gift tag onto the top of my scrapbook paper tag.  (Make sure you punch a little hole for your ribbon to go through before you put your tags together.)
As the Mod Podge was drying, I added a couple of embellishments and a wired pom pom ribbon to my tag.  Here it is all ready for my package.
And here is why it is reusable.  Using a dry erase marker, write on the top of the podgeable shape tag who the gift is for.  Then you can wipe it off with a paper towel or any dry cloth and use it again.  Or your recipient can reuse it and pass the beautiful tag along!
I used the wired pom pom ribbon to attach it to my gift.
It just made the whole presentation of the gift!
Here some of the other fun products by Mod Podge and Plaid.

I can’t believe the Christmas season is here!  There are so many cute Christmas craft projects to make!  I can’t wait to keep the momentum going!
Happy Christmas Crafting!
