I wanted to make a little gift to take to some ladies in the neighborhood. I was inspired by this picture from pinterest. With this as my inspiration, here is a tutorial of how I made my Snick – er -Treat Cones!
I gathered all my supplies. What you will need:
8.5 x 11 scrapbook paper
pipe cleaners
hole punch
scissors
tape
craft glue (not shown)
stapler (not shown)
embellishments
I found some cute felt spiders, rick rac, pom poms and pipe cleaners in coordinating colors at Hobby Lobby.

Then you make a cone shape out of your scrapbook paper. Making the opening as big or as little as you like. Once you get your cone, I used one or two staples at the top to keep the shape and used a small piece of tape at the very bottom. Then cut off some of the top so you have a some what straight edge around the top of your cone
Using the hole punch (I used the smallest hole punch I had), punch two holes opposite each other at the top of the cone. Feed your pipe cleaners through and make a handle at the top of the cone.
Once the handle is on, decorate the cone with the embellishments.
I decided to add a label to my cones, so I made one up on my computer, cut them out and added them to the front.

Then I filled them with my FAVORITE fall treat.
I call them Snick – er – Treats because my favorite fall treat is,

Candy Corn
Dry Roasted Peanuts
Chocolate Chips
When you have them all together you get a yummy, can’t stop eating treat, that tastes like a Snickers. If you haven’t tried it, DO IT!! Now is the time!
