The Winkle Crate STEM box is such a great way to keep kids excited and engaged in learning and experimenting. Each box comes with 4 STEM projects.
My kids are huge STEM loving kids. When I first heard about the Winkle box, I thought for sure my son would love to get his hands on this. And he has totally loved all the projects he’s done.
But my daughters love it as well. Especially when there has been an art project in one of the boxes. They have been challenged and pushed and are loving The Winkle Crate.
STEM Box For Kids
The Winkle is all about inspiring kids to love learning. The Winkle Crate comes with everything your child needs to make 4 STEM based projects. You can see more of what The Winkle is about on their website. But let me just share a bit with you here.
These boxes create an opportunity for independent learning. They are easy enough for your littles to be able to work on their own. Some parental help may be needed for some of the projects, but my kids have been able to do most of them on their own. Which means more quiet time for me to work!
You can subscribe to have the Winkle box mailed to you every month, or you can just buy individual boxes. There are so many options available to get the Winkle Crate into your hands.
The Winkle Box
One of my favorite features of The Winkle Crate is the video instructions. Kids do not need to be able to read instructions to put these projects together. There are 2 ways to get the video instructions to build your projects.
You can hop onto the website and click on projects to find the video, or you can use the QR code. This is my favorite way. Just open up the camera on your smart device and hold it over the QR code. No need to download any QR reader apps.
A tab will pop up to click and open the video on youtube. My kids can follow along to build their Winkle project, pausing when they need to catch up.
During the video kids not only get instructions, but they get the science and information on how and why things work. So the videos are both instructional and informational.
I love that my kids hands and minds are enriched with The Winkle Crate. And they totally feel accomplished and proud when they finish their projects.
My daughter built the pan flute and it’s been a hit will all the kids. Everyone wants a turn at creating some music.
I’m excited to tell you that as a Liz on Call reader, you can get 10% off your Winkle Box order! Just use the Code: LIZONCALL at check out to get the deal. I can’t wait for you and your family to try out this fun STEM box.
This box is great for homeschoolers too. Who might be looking to add a bit more STEM to their learning.
I hope your family enjoys The Winkle Crate STEM box as much as mine does.
