This easy magic wand craft is a fun activity for a princess party or just if the kids get bored this summer.
A few weeks ago I threw a purple party for my daughter for her 4th birthday. All I knew is she wanted everything to be purple and she gave me a list of all her little friends that she wanted to invite to the party. I gathered all the purple things for the party, but I still needed an activity to keep the girls entertained during the party. This magic wand craft was so a last minute activity I pulled together using a lot of what I already had on hand.
Magic Wand Craft
I found some cute purple paper and used my Cricut machine to cut out paper stars 4 inches wide. I gave the girls some adhesive backed jewels to decorate their stars. They each decorated 2 stars, one for the front and one for the back.
Once they decorated their stars, I grabbed a long popsicle stick and a couple pieces of thin ribbon.
I used a glue dot to attach the ribbon to the top of the popsicle stick.
I used more glue dots to attach the star to the popsicle stick and then attached the other star to the back.
The girls loved the magic wand craft. They carried them around with them for the entire party. And of course they were called princess wands by these little princesses. Little miss loved making these at her purple party.
I loved how easy this craft was. It was a perfect addition to the party and would make a fun summer boredom buster project too.
Happy Crafting!
