Are you guys ready for summer to be over yet? I have to admit this summer has flown by, we have had some fun and some crazy too at our house. We are in the process of moving so our house has been in disaray, and it’s so hot outside that I have to admit that the tv and netflix have been on a little more than I would prefer, but we are surviving! 🙂 One of the things my kids love to do is play in the water. Whether it is swimming, playing in the monsoon rain or with a bucket of water or a squirt gun, they love the water. Especially if it turns the ground to mud. 🙂 So I’m super excited to be participating with The Joys of Boys summer survival series as part of water week! I’m sure you have seen the cute water sponge bombs that people have made for their kids for some summer fun, and today I wanted to share how easy they are to make. Take a look at the kid made water sponge bombs my son made.
Now this is my first ever video on the blog!! Take a look and see how much he loved making these on his own.
I love the faces he makes as he throws the water sponge bombs at his sister. I’m sad there are no sound effects that go with this picture. 🙂
These sponge bombs really are super easy to make.
Like he said, 3 sponges and a rubber band and your kids will have tons of fun!
Happy Crafting!
