Making a Valentine’s craft with my kids this year has been on my to do list for the last couple weeks.  I have lots of supplies, but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to make with them.  My son is really into glue, and my daughter is really into what ever her brother is in to.  So I thought we should glue some pom poms in the shape of a heart and it would make a perfect Valentine gift their grandparents.  This pom pom heart kid craft was really easy to make and the kids loved doing it.
I created a printable as kind of a guide to help the kids know where to glue the pom poms.  (Or just use the printable as a card it’s self!)  I wanted to make sure and include a not so girly one in case someone is very particular about the color options.
Plus you might want to use pom poms you already have and the more colorful one might work for that. I have seen pom poms for really inexpensive in the dollar spot at Target or even the Dollar Store.  I found a pack in Valentine colors last year on clearance after Valentine’s Day.
I think letting the glue dry was the hardest part of this project!  My daughter did a pretty good job of matching the colors to the right spot.

My son however, just wanted to glue them on.  He tried to match up the colors, but those really big pom poms were just too fun and covered more than one.  He just went with it.
Either way, they turned out cute and will be loved.
You can download the pom pom heart card below.
Just click on the color choice you would like.
Just remember; all Lizzie Jane Baby printables are for personal use only.
They download (2) 5×7 cards to a page.
