I don’t know about you guys, but we have the tie dye bug big time around here. My kids have been making tie dye shirts at school for years. And they have loved every one of those shirts.
Sometimes however, I want the look of tie dye without the mess. So I thought these tie dye stickers would be so cute! They have that look and all you have to do is print and cut!
Tie Dye Stickers
To make these tie dye stickers you will need:
We used the Cricut Maker and the print and cut method in Cricut Design Space to make these stickers. Once we downloaded the tie dye stickers (see download below), we uploaded the file into Cricut Design Space.
We uploaded it as a print and cut design (which the file is all set up for). We opened it onto our Cricut Design Space canvas and resized the design to fit within the print and cut parameters. Which is 6.75″ x 9.25″. I left the design locked and just changed the length to 9.25″ and it adjusted the width automatically.
Once I had that set, I printed the design onto my Sticker paper. I used the use printer dialog slider on the print page in Cricut Design Space. The box sometimes pops up behind design space and I have to bring it to the front in order to slide the slider to print best.
Once it was printed, I covered the stickers with a self laminating sheet to make the stickers even more waterproof. I like to use the poster board setting for the Cricut machine when it comes to cutting.
I loaded the mat with the sticker sheet on it into the machine. Hit the cut button and let the Cricut do the cutting work. Unload the mat and remove the stickers from the cutting mat.
You definitely don’t need a cutting machine to make these stickers. You can just download them and print them onto some sticker paper and cut them out with scissors.
Grab the free tie dye stickers printable in the red box below. This file can be used as a print and cut file for your cutting machine, or you can print it out on sticker paper and hand cut the designs out.
