Hello Liz on Call peeps! I’m Laura and I share fun and easy recipes, crafts and other quips of life over at Pink Cake Plate! I am so excited to be here today sharing something I just love so much! CANDY! I have lots of recipes for Christmas Candy but today I am sharing this easy and yummy Valentine Saltine Toffee recipe! This candy is so easy and addicting!

Add a Valentine's twist to this saltine toffee for the perfect treat for your friends and neighbors or sweetheart this Valentine's Day.

I came across this recipe when I had an overabundance of saltine crackers. I never dreamed how delicious it is. The combination of salty crackers and brown sugar is soooo good!

This recipe is so easy to whip up and you can change up the toppings so easily. The first time I made this candy I used milk chocolate but for Valentines I used vanilla flavored pink candy and white almond bark. I got a little crazy and swirled the candy when it was melted. I loved how it turned out so pretty. You have to have sprinkles, you just have to. For this batch I used these tiny candy covered chocolate drops, hearts and jimmies! So cute!

I just love how pretty it turned out. I also love how easy this recipe is! A few tips, line your cookie sheet with foil and use a cooking spray so the candy releases from the foil easily. I have learned the hard way on this one! I can’t tell you what a mess it is if the foil is not prepared so don’t do that! Use the cooking spray.

Valentine Saltine Toffee

Valentine Saltine Toffee Recipe

  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 8 oz white almond bark chopped
  • 8 oz pink candy melts
  • sprinkles of choice

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Line cookie sheet with saltine crackers in single layer.

In a saucepan combine the sugar and the butter. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Immediately pour over saltines and spread over crackers completely.

Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes, or until toffee is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle white and pink candy over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes. Spread melted candy and top with sprinkles. Cool completely and break into pieces.
