I love Christmas time at Target! It happens to be one of my favorite stores where I just cruise the aisles with no particular list in mind. If I do have a list, I usually end up buying 10 things even though my list only had 2 things on it. I always find such fun stuff there! And I love all the Christmas decor and unique food items I can find this time of year. So I was really excited to go shopping there to look for items to use for some easy gift ideas. I bought some popcorn, hot chocolate and beef jerky to use for some easy gift giving this holiday.
I couldn’t resist these cute tins of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa that I found in the Christmas section. There were some yummy choices, but I went with the the classic milk chocolate (it might also be because the tin is red and there’s a snowman on it).
Now I think that these tins are cute and would make a great gift by itself. I mean, they are already decorated and wrapped up cute!
But you can’t go wrong by pairing this cute tin with some mini marshmallows. Especially peppermint marshmallows. Which I also found at Target in the Christmas goodies section. I put some in a small bag and tied it up with a cute tag. This gift is ready to be delivered!
I decided to buy the package of Slim Jim’s that contains 15 individually wrapped smaller sticks. I think these sticks are a perfect size to use as a stocking stuffer when that beef jerky lover needs a salty snack. Now I know my hubby loves beef jerky and but he would also love a quite corner of his own. So I decided to make something fun using the Slim Jim’s.
I decided to make him his very own “man cave”, made out of beef jerky!
I unwrapped all the beef jerky and used my kitchen scissors to cut the length of the side walls and the roof. Then I used toothpicks to hold the beef jerky walls together. I used the scrap pieces to make the front and cut a couple in half to make the back wall. I attached the roof and made sure to secure everything with toothpicks.
What jerky lover wouldn’t love their own Slim Jim “man cave”!
It could also be a log cabin for your littles to help build. What kid doesn’t love to have fun with their food?!?!
One of my favorite gifts to give is flavored popcorn. Using microwave popcorn is the way I prefer to make my flavored popcorn. It just make the whole process much easier. And I kind of can’t resist peppermint, so I knew I had to buy these candy cane flavored candy melts when I saw them.
I thought that instead of making the flavored popcorn and then delivering it, I would gather all the things needed to make it and package them all together so the neighbors could make it with their families. My kids absolutely love helping in the kitchen and this is one thing they can help with.
I stacked up the items and tied them with a big red bow and tucked in the recipe. This is a super simple gift that will be fun for the families to do while spending time together this holiday season. Plus it’s so delicious that it will probably become one of their family favorites.

I just love gift giving. So I really love this time of year where I can show our family and friends that we appreciate and love them and give them a little something special. These ideas are super simple, super easy and super delicious!
Happy Gift Giving!

How cute! Love those Swiss Miss tins, I couldn’t find them at my Target but usually the holiday sections at mine wipe out before December even starts. Your man cave skills are pretty awesome and while I’ve never even heard of Peppermint Popcorn, it sounds amazing and I may just have to download the recipe so I can enjoy some myself! Thanks for sharing! #client

I am just so impressed with your “Man Cave” building skills. Very cool. Now if you could fit a wide screen tv in there… Great job! #client
