Feeding my busy guy with Velveeta Cheesy Skillet Singles

If your husband is like mine, he is always on the go.  Working in construction some days he doesn’t get home until after dinner.  He even works sometimes on Saturdays and will just pass through during the day.  For lunch, and even dinner, sandwiches can get old.  The new Velveeta Cheesy Skillet Singles are a perfect solution for an easy lunch (or dinner).  It’s a heat and eat meal that is deliciously cheesy and can fill him up.

The Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Singles come in 4 different options.
Chicken Alfredo
Chicken Chili Cheese Mac
Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac
Lasagna with Meat Sauce

My husband loves chili and I thought that the Chicken Chili Cheese Mac would be perfect for him.  Look at those chunks of chicken!  And with the beans, it smelled delicious.

I found the Cheesy Skillet Singles in the heat and serve isle at Walmart, by the other microwavable meals.
You can see my shopping trip HERE.

I also found a free standing insert coupon in my newspaper from 7/18 that got me $1 off one.
I love when I find a great deal on something my family will enjoy!

When he saw it sitting on the counter when he got home from work he said, “hey!  What’s this?”.  He was excited to give it a try.
This is his excited face! 🙂

It was so quick and easy to cook up (1 minute in the microwave and stir in the Velveeta cheesy goodness), that my hubby was able to eat lunch and be back on the road in no time.  And it filled him up until dinner time!

I love when I’m able to have lunch with my hubby.  Even if it was only for a few minutes.
These Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Singles are new in stores now.  When I found them, the shelf was pretty much empty.  Luckily I ran into the guy that stocks the shelves and he loaded them back up!  It made me think that people are already big fans.
You can find out more about Velveeta products by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
My hubby isn’t the only one eating liquid gold!

Happy Lunching!
