You know I’m a fan of decorating my door for the holidays. Well, I finally got around to making a new wreath for my door. It was so easy to make! It took me about 30 minutes to put it all together. This simple spring wreath is perfect for not just spring, but for Easter and Mother’s Day too.
It started with this grapevine wreath. I liked that it was kind of wide. I have a big front door so I like a little extra wreath!
I just went through the flower section of Michael’s,they had 40 % off their floral that day, and chose some flowers that I liked and thought would work. I am a sucker for hydrangeas!
I cut them off their stems using a wire cutter and played around with the layout until I had something that I liked. I just used a hot glue gun to attach my flowers to my wreath.
I found this small chalkboard in my craft stash and thought I’d add it to the middle of the wreath. It’s tied onto the wreath so it won’t fall out, but the dimensions were actually perfect to fit right in there and not move. Now I can erase it and add Happy Easter or Mother’s Day as the holidays come up.
Check out that rose! Isn’t it gorgeous? It is real but looks and actually feels real.
I like bright and cheerful and thought I would bring a little more onto my porch with these super cute pillows.
I can see this simple spring wreath staying up until the 4th of July!
Happy Crafting!
