Do you have a huge stash of adorable washi tape that just needs the perfect project?  Well then you are like me!  I have a ton of super cute washi tape, that I have gathered and I finally found a great project to use it.  With all the talk of rainbows and clovers, what better way to show your lucky green side then with this St. Patrick’s Day rainbow washi tape sign!

I found this cute shaped wooden plaque at Michaels the other day for a couple bucks and knew I wanted to use it for a St. Patrick’s day project.  I dug out all my washi tape and found the ones I wanted to use to make my rainbow background.Rainbow washi sign 2

I just sat on the couch and added my washi tape in the rainbow pattern, until the entire plaque was covered.  I then trimmed the top and bottom so the tape would follow the cute curve of the sign.Rainbow washi sign 3

I cut a big shamrock out of green cardstock.  I actually used my cutting machine, but you could cut it out by hand too.  I just used a couple of glue dots and attached the shamrock to the rainbow washi tape sign.Rainbow Washi sign 4

I wanted to get my kids involved with this project too.  So I got out a couple pieces of blank paper and helped them cut the washi tape into strips and then I let them  cover their papers with the tape.Rainbow Washi Sign 5

I found a package of foam shamrocks at some craft store (I can’t remember).  And let them pick out which one they wanted on their rainbow.  With a couple dabs of glue on the back, they stuck them on their paper and we let them dry.  Rainbow Washi Sign 6

The kids love taping their projects on the wall, and this time was no different.  We attached them to the wall with more washi tape, so we could enjoy them during this St. Patrick’s Day holiday season.

I set my rainbow washi tape sign on an easel on my entry way table.  I added a little lucky banner to my burlap wreath and my simple St. Patrick’s Day decorations are complete.

I don’t decorate a lot for St. Patrick’s day, but I do try and focus on why I am so lucky.  Seeing this makes me remember!

I just want to say a quick thank you to our sponsors this week.  They are helping out with $100 Amazon gift card giveaway.  Have you entered Yet?

So cute! I may have to use this for my daughter’s party. It is My Little Pony theme, specially Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. A cute pony silhouette on the rainbow background would be so cute!

Love this! It’s super cute. Of course, I’m addicted to washi tape, so that helps…
Love that you got the kids in on it too. 🙂 Found you from The Party Bunch link party.
