We have a couple of pet lovers at our house that I know they will love this Crazy Cat Lady Cut File. This Crazy Cat Lady Cut File was designed specifically for cold cups.
If I wasn’t allergic to cats, my daughter would hound me everyday for a pet cat. She still even asks at least once a month to get a cat, even though she knows that answer is no.
She had to write a report on what she would be doing when she is 100 years old. And in her report, she wrote about how she would be a crazy cat lady with her 100 cats.
To say she is obsessed would be an understatement I guess. I’m sure she will one day own a cat in her own home. But with her in mind, I created this crazy cat lady starbucks cup cut file. I even used purple vinyl to make the design, since it’s her favorite color.
How To Make a Crazy Cat Lady Starbucks Cold Cup
Once you upload the Crazy Cat Lady design into Cricut Design Space, all you need to do is click make it. It is already sized to fit around the Starbucks logo.
Here is a video on How to Upload an SVG to Cricut Design Space if you need a little refresher.
Choose vinyl as your material and then load your mat into the machine. Once you’ve put the permanent vinyl on the mat of course. 🙂 I like to use permanent vinyl because it tends to stick better when up against water. I’ve been able to put cups with permanent vinyl in the dishwasher and they’ve been fine. But hand washing is always recommended.
Click the go button and unload the mat once the machine is done cutting. Use the weeding tool to remove any unwanted vinyl from the design.
Apply clear transfer tape to the design and smooth out any air bubbles with scraper tool. Clean the cup with alcohol to remove any debris and fingerprints. Remove the paper from the back of the design and place it on the cup. Smooth out any airbubbles and then remove the transfer tape.
