With school back in session we are back into our scheduled routine. One of the things we started last year, was doing homework right when my son gets home from school. He hates homework and complains the majority of the time we are doing it. And he’s only in first grade! 🙂 One thing that I make sure to have during homework time, is a snack. I’ve found that if my son is snacking, he doesn’t mind doing his homework. I created these roll a topping snack time printables to hopefully make after school homework time more fun.
When I was at Walmart picking up some things on my grocery list, I found these Hershey’s pudding cups in the refrigerated aisle. Hershey’s pudding cups are made with real Hershey’s cocoa and I bought both chocolate and s’mores packs.
My son is always asking for chocolate pudding but I thought he might like to try both for our roll a topping game.
When I was at Walmart, I thought what kind of toppings might be fun for our snack time game. For the s’mores cups I thought graham crackers, marshmallows and mini chocolate chips would be perfect! I also picked up some chocolate candies, chocolate sandwich cookies and sprinkles. Every pudding cup needs some colorful sprinkles!
I put the each topping next to a number of the dice.
I had my kids roll the dice 3 times and add the corresponding topping to their pudding cup.
It was a total hit!! They ask to play the pudding game every day! They really want to add all 6 toppings, but I don’t think they could fit them all in their pudding cup. 🙂

Right now the September/October issue of ALL YOU magazine has a coupon for $.55 off a Hershey’s pudding 4 pack. That makes it even easier to buy the Hershey’s 4 pack. Which flavor would you choose? What kind of toppings would you include in your roll a topping snack time printables?

Happy Snacking!
