More than 30 of the Best Snacks And Treats At Disneyland. We’ve got sweet, savory and even frozen treats you can find at both Disneyland and California Adventure.
Did you even go to Disneyland if you didn’t try any of the food? Half the reason I go to Disneyland is just to snack my way around the park. Haha!
But really, I do enjoy so many of the snacks and treats around both Disneyland and California Adventure. During the holidays it’s fun to try something that was made specifically for the holiday festivities. But there are so many snacks and treats that have become staples for me during a trip to the parks, and I have to get them every time I’m there.
So as we compiled this list of over 30 of the best snacks and treats at Disneyland, we really wanted to focus on things that you could find year round. Because it’s frustrating when your friends tells you about this really yummy treat they had on their last trip as you are leaving to visit the parks. Only to find out that it was a seasonal item and you can’t get it anymore.
Best Snacks and Treats at Disneyland and California Adventure
These snacks and treats are not only the best, but usually just around or under $10. And so many of them you could share with another person. Which is what I’m all about. So I can justify trying more things, but also save a bit of money.
We have put together 12 treats for each of the 3 categories: Sweet Treats, Savory Snacks and Frozen Treats. That means there are 36 things you need to add to your must try list for your next trip to the parks.
Let’s start with the best frozen treats at Disneyland and California Adventure. But make sure to scroll down a bit further to see the Best Savory Snacks and The Best Sweet Treats.
Best Frozen Treats at Disneyland
Frozen treats are some of my favorite treats at the parks. I love a good drink and if it’s frozen it just makes it even better. You may see some Disneyland classics in this list of the Best Frozen Treats at Disneyland, but a lot of these will be new to you I’m sure. And the best part, you can find these all year!
Let’s break it down this list of 12 frozen treats at Disneyland. And when I say Disneyland, in regards to the frozen treats, I mean in both parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. I’ll tell you where to find each one, in which park, and all the tips for getting your hands on it.
Frozen Treats in Disneyland
Right out of the gate, we have to talk about the ultimate Disney classic frozen treat. The Pineapple Dole whip. The dole whip has been at Disneyland since 1976. You can find this yumminess. In 2 places at the park.
You can grab a pineapple dole whip, or a pineapple dole whip float (where the dole whip is in a cup of fresh pineapple juice), at the Tiki Bar in Adventureland. The Tiki Bar is right outside the entrance to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. We love to grab a dole whip and go in and enjoy the show on a hot day.
The other place you can grab this frozen treat is at Tropical Imports. Just around the corner from the Tiki Bar also in Adventureland. At Tropical Imports you can always find pineapple flavored dole whip, but they always have 2 additional flavors of dole whip. Like mango, strawberry and raspberry.
My recommendation, if you want to just get the classic pineapple, use the mobile order option in the Disneyland app to order it from the Tiki Bar. That will save you some time. Because you have to wait in the longer line at Tropical Imports if you want to get the other flavors.
Back over on main street is my husband’s favorite place to stop. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. It is the place to stop at the end of the night on your way out of the park. You can find hand scooped ice cream cones, single scoops up to triple scoops in regular cones, waffle cones or dipped waffle cones. They have a variety of ice cream sundaes that come in waffle bowls too.
You really can’t go wrong with anything from Gibson Girl. Plus you can mobile order your order so it’s ready for you when as you make your way to the park exit. Or once you grab your spot for the fireworks and pick up a treat to enjoy while you wait.
They say everything Mickey shaped tastes better. And in the case of this Mickey Ice Cream bar they are totally right! Through out the park you can find carts that sell frozen treats like ice cream sandwiches, frozen bananas, fruit bars and these Mickey ice cream bars. They are so yummy, but can be a bit of a mess on a hot day.
The Boysen Apple Freeze. This frozen drink is one of my favorite things to get at the park. I love apple juice in general. At Disneyland you can find frozen apple juice a couple of places around the park. Frozen, slushy apple juice!?! It is as good as it sounds. Then you have the addition of boysenberry sauce and whipped cream, this drink is just the tops.
Just to the left of the castle, by fantasy faire theater you can find a cart called Maurice’s Treats. This is where you can find the Boysen Apple Freeze. There are some other yummy snacks and treats at the cart you can try as well, but if you are going to wait in that line, I sure hope it is to get this frozen treat.
Over in Frontierland you can find the Golden Horseshoe Saloon. It is a great place to take a break, eat and enjoy the air conditioning on a hot day. Along with their classic food options, you can find a seasonal sundae. Everyone I’ve tried has been delicious. And even though they change flavors often, you won’t be disappointed.
But if you ever see the churro sundae on the menu, RUN over there and grab it! Or you could use that mobile order option in the app that I’m always telling you about. It’s my favorite way to order food in the parks.
Now this next frozen treat is another drink. You are probably thinking, that’s not a treat. But when you can add a shot of cherry or raspberry to your frozen lemonade, it most definitely becomes a treat. You can find these at lemonade carts all over Disneyland.
Frozen Treats in California Adventure
The Adorable Snowman frosted treats over on Pixar Pier in California Adventure is known for its dairy free soft serve. You can usually find 2 different flavors of soft serve and a smaller menu.
But this Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait is definitely one to try. It is lemon soft serve with a blue raspberry slushy swirl. The flavor and texture combination of this parfait is just so good. And it’s really a lot, so don’t forget to share it with your family. I can’t finish one on my own. And I hate to waste it.
Over in Cars Land there are 2 places that I like to grab a frozen treat. The first is over at Flo’s V8 cafe.
If you love a milkshake, you are going to love Flo’s classic shake. It’s a vanilla, chocolate or strawberry shake topped with “road gravel” (cookie crumbs). And sometimes you can find the option to get all 3 flavors in one!
This one is a great one to enjoy because you can mobile it, along with something yummy for lunch. We love to enjoy a late lunch out on the back patio and watch Radiator Racers cars go by.
Across from Flo’s is the Cozy Cone. Our most favorite spot to grab a snack at California Adventure. My family loves visiting the cozy cones on our trips. Again, I’m going to push my mobile order recommendation for the Cozy Cone.
We love the Ice Cream Cone for their swirling soft serve treats. During the holidays they have a peppermint soft serve they decorate like a christmas tree. But the classic chocolate and vanilla swirl is a favorite. And if you like root beer floats, this would be the cone to visit.
One of the more expensive frozen treats comes from the Ghirardelli chocolate shop by the wharf area (now called San Fransokyo) in California Adventure. It has a classic soda fountain feel and they have a decent sized menu when it comes to their ice cream sundaes.
Hand dipped ice cream bars where I get to choose exactly what I want? That sounds like a great frozen treat to me! Plus you can utilize that mobile order option at this location.
At Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream shop you can find a great selection of frozen confection. But one of my favorites is the hand dipped ice cream bar. It’s a vanilla bean ice cream bar that you can have dipped in your choice of chocolate coating and topping. A totally custom treat.
I may have saved the best for last. Well, you might not think so. But this is one of those things that I get every disneyland trip.
The frozen coke. Yep. It’s that basic. My favorite place to grab a frozen coke is on Pixar Pier across from the Silly Symphony Swings. There is a frozen drinks cart and I pick the coke every time. It’s just that good. And if you like to add a little something extra to your drinks, they do offer a Jack and Coke option for those over 21.
Best Savory Snacks at Disneyland
Even though frozen treats are some of my favorites at Disneyland, we can not forget the best savory snacks. Some of my favorites are the baked potato, the ronto wrap, and the corn dog. But my kids absolute favorite is the Bacon Mac and cheese cone from the Cozy Cone.

Best Sweet Treats at Disneyland
And of course the best sweet treats at Disneyland. There really are so many good sweet treats it was hard to narrow it down. But we tried to keep in mind things that you would be able to find year round.
Shantelle at Magical Tour Guide really has a great list of the top 12 sweet treats in Disneyland. Click the image for the best sweet treats to see just what made the list. But I will tell you one thing. Actually just 3 words, Raspberry Rose Macaron. It is my absolute favorite sweet treat in the entire park.
To say I’m obsessed with it is an understatement. If you don’t believe me, you should check out my instagram page. DisneyFoodNFun to see just how much I rave about this beauty. I often think that I over hype the thing. But then I taste it and there is no doubt. IT’S THE BEST.
