With spacious suites and comfortable furnishings, the Embassy Suites South is a great choice for those looking for a comfortable stay and lots of space when traveling to Disneyland Park.
Technically considered to be in Garden Grove California, the Embassy Suites South is just over 1 mile from the entrance to Disneyland. It is just on the border of Anaheim so you don’t feel like you’re too far from the magic.
My girl friends and I were lucky enough to get to stay here on a girls trip. The Embassy Suites South hosted our stay, but these opinions are my own.
Embassy Suites South
The Embassy Suites South has a fun safari themed atrium that you notice right when you walk in. They have a waterfall and streams that are home to not just koi fish, but 2 turtles as well.
You can also find an animated life size lion that sits on top of the rocks. He comes to life and gives off an impressive roar before going back to sleep again.
It is such a fun place to sit and watch the fish and turtles. And listen to the waterfall in hopes of catching the lion when he decides to wake up. Kids will love this atrium area.
How long does it take to get to Disneyland from Embassy Suites South?
Located just over 1 mile from the entrance to Disneyland, this hotel is really in a great location. It might not be ideal to walk to the entrance to the Disneyland Resort, but it is part of the ART shuttle system.
It is also close to other Anaheim area activities. Close to the Angel’s stadium and the Honda Center. As well as the Convention Center. And located across the street from Target and well known restaurants.
It never took us longer than 20 minutes to get from the hotel to the entrance to Disneyland. The buses run on a quick schedule, and using the AWAY WEGO app, you can see where the buses are located in real time, so you’re not waiting for long periods of time.
The Embassy Suites South has a stop right out front. Which makes it easy to just hop on and off the ART bus. It is route number 4 in the app. So you know which bus to track during your visit.
You could also drive your own vehicle and park in one of the parking structures at Disneyland. Or use a car share service to get back and forth to the hotel and the park.
