A great place to stay for families planning a visit to the park, the Hilton Anaheim hotel is just minutes walk to the entrance of Disneyland.

My family and I were able to stay at the Hilton Anaheim during our Spring Break trip to Disneyland. I was super excited for this trip because it was going to be the first time I was taking my mom to Disneyland! We have been to Disneyland together before. But it has been 20 years and that was before I had kids.
So this was the first time my daughters and I got to be at Disneyland together with my mom. I was really excited to introduce her to some of new rides and lands at Disneyland since the last time she has been there.
One of the things I wanted to make sure we had for this trip, besides a good time, was a comfortable place to stay. Also a place that was close to the parks.
Hilton Anaheim
Located on Harbor Blvd., just a few blocks south of the entrance to Disneyland, this hotel is really in a great location. You can definitely walk to the park, just about 15 minute or so walk. But it is also located right next across the street from the Toy Story parking lot on Harbor.
My original plan was just to walk over to the parking lot there and grab one of the shuttle busses to take us to Disneyland. But my younger daughter broke her foot a week before our trip. So we needed to pivot a little bit. I rented a wheelchair to be delivered to the hotel.
We loaded up the wheelchair into our car and drove across the street to the Toy Story parking lot and park there. Where we would get onto a bus to take us to the entrance to the park. We drove so we didn’t have to add more effort to pushing a wheelchair to get to the park, when we would be pushing the wheelchair all day at Disneyland.
But we do love using the Toy Story lot. When the busses are running and the parking lot is open, this is a great option. You could also take the ART bus or drive to the Mickey and Friends parking lot and take the tram to the park. There are so many options.

Hilton Anaheim is also perfectly located for anyone attending a convention in Anaheim. It is right next to the Anaheim Convention Center. You just have to walk across a courtyard area.
Hilton Anaheim Rooms
Hilton is working hard to make sure that their hotel rooms are clean and all the high touch point areas are sanitized. You can read more about their cleanliness promise and procedures at the Hilton Clean Stay.
Let’s talk rooms. We stayed in one of the newly refreshed 2 queen rooms. That had sleeping room enough for 4. Two queen beds in the bedroom with a dresser and closet with plenty of storage.

They have a few different options on rooms, including suites. And rooms with kitchenettes and for larger groups. You can give them a call and see if they have options for your group.
And if you want to be able to see the Disneyland fireworks from your room, make sure and ask to be put in a room on the north side of the building. Or ask for a firework view. We loved being able to see the fireworks. And we could also watch World of Color from our room too.

2024 and 2025 Hilton Anaheim is undergoing a major refresh. They are updating all of their 1500+ rooms with a fresh neutral design. Along with refreshing the rooms, they are updating their lobby area to include an amazing bar.

With the new bar in the lobby, they are updating their on site restaurant Mix. Where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were able to eat at Mix one night for dinner. Everything was delicious. I recommend the salmon if you like fish.

If you are looking for other options for eating on site, they do have a Starbucks in the lobby that is open from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. You can grab your favorites right in the lobby of the hotel.

And if you don’t make it into Starbucks before it closes, or want something a little different, they just opened the Hansen’s Market. It is a beautiful market, full of healthy options, sweet treats, amazing pastries and fresh made lattes. There really is so much to choose from in the market.

As you can see, we totally enjoyed our stay at Hilton Anaheim. If you are looking for a place to stay that is comfortable and close to the parks, or if you’re headed to a convention in Anaheim, you should definitely stay at the Hilton Anaheim.

Happy Planning.
