Counting my blessings is always on my mind this time of year.  It’s my favorite thing about fall and Thanksgiving.  I try and remember to count my blessings everyday, but it seems to be more prominent in the fall.  Maybe because everyone I meet is doing the same, or trying to.

This count your blessings hand lettered wreath is part of the Fall Fresh Cuts bundle.  When we decided as a group what we wanted our theme to be for October, I knew I wanted to include this phrase.  I designed this so it could be multiple layers and colors, but because I had this gold adhesive foil in my craft stash, so I decided to create the entire thing with gold foil.  I love that the adhesive foil is not a permanent stick vinyl.  I can keep this on the wall for the season and take it down with out any damage to the wall.

I opened up Cricut Design Space and uploaded the cut file.  Once it was open, I selected all the layers and clicked weld.  (Found at the bottom under the layers panel on desktop.)  I loaded my 12×24 inch mat with the adhesive foil.  Once the vinyl was cut, I weeded the vinyl, just leaving the design.

I covered the design with transfer tape and used the scrapper to smooth out any air bubbles and make sure the transfer tape stuck to the foil.

I peeled the back of the vinyl off. This is always the hardest part.  Just go slow and use the scrapper to press the foil down on the transfer tape as you peel off the back.  Once the back was peeled off, I placed the adhesive foil on the wall and smoothed it out using the scrapper again.  I slowly pulled the transfer tape off the design.  I smoothed out any air bubbles with my fingers.

I put this right in my entry way above my table.  It looks perfect there!  And depending on where you stand, the gold foil looks different colors.  It’s pretty cool.

Like I mentioned above, this file is part of the October Fresh Cuts bundle.  You can purchase 10 amazing cut file designs only during the month of October and then they are gone.  Make sure to check out all the amazing designs!

Happy Crafting!
