DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift

We love our teachers.  They do so much in their jobs of teaching our kids.  We love to show our appreciation for them whenever possible.  Especially during teacher appreciaiton week.  Teacher appreciation gifts don’t have to be expensive or extravegant, just something they will love and use.  This teacher appreciation SVG cut file makes DIY teacher appreciation gifts super easy.

For this teacher appreciation gift you will need:

Clipboard

Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2

Vinyl

Weeding Tool

Transfer Tape

Cut File (at end of post)

I found this cute graph paper design clip board in the dollar section at Target at the beginning of the school and knew I would at some point use it for a fun teacher gift idea.

To make this project, download the SVG cut file at the end of this post.  Unzip the file and upload it into Cricut Design Space.  Adjust the file to the size you want to make your project.  Click make it and make sure all the layers are on their own mat.  Place the correct color vinyl onto the mat for the first cut, select vinyl as the material, load the mat into the cutting machine and click the go button.

Unload the mat and remove the vinyl.  Place the next piece of vinyl onto the mat, load it into the machine and click the go button.  Unload it once cut and repeat with the remaining layers.  Weed out all the unwanted pieces of the vinyl, keeping only those pieces on the backing material needed for the design.  Use the transfer tap to layer all the pieces together.  Place the completed design down onto the clipboard and smooth out any air bubbles using a scraper tool.  Carefully remove the transfer tape from the design.
