Hand Print Spider & Paper Web – Kid Craft

The kids and I have been sick most of the week.  I think we’ve been to the doctor 6 times in the last 2 weeks!  So I decided instead of sitting around watching movies (again), we should make some halloween crafts.  This kid craft is super easy and you probably have everything you need to make them at home.  This paper spider web and hand print spider turned out really cute and the kids loved them.  I laugh at how my son’s hand gets tickled and he giggles as I paint his hand. 🙂
The first thing I did was cut out a paper spider web for each of the kids.  If you have older kids, they would probably prefer to do the cutting themselves.
Hopefully you can follow along with the pictures.  I just used a regular 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.  Cardstock I think would be too thick and hard to cut once it was all folded.

Then I ran some glue around the back side of the web and glued it on to an orange piece of cardstock.
I used some acrylic paint and painted the kids hands (not the thumb).
Then we places their hands on the spider web, so it would look like a spider.  This spider is going to have 9 legs!
I gave the kids 2 eyes and they stuck them on for the spiders face.
It’s perfect to display in your home.  I don’t know about you but my kids love to tape their projects up on the wall so everyone can see them.
This is a quick craft you can do with your littles this weekend to get them all ready for Halloween.
Happy Crafting!
