Create a fun present for your friends or loved ones, when you personalize a gift bag with heat transfer vinyl.
If you’ve been visiting Liz on Call for awhile, you know how much I love gift giving. Whenever I’m out running errands and I find blank cards, small boxes or bags, I always buy them and keep them in a stash in my craft room. I love starting with a good blank surface and making it my own. When I spotted these cute drawstring bags in the dollar section at Target, I knew I needed to snatch up a couple for my gift giving stash.
Lately I’ve been working on a little side project. I love hand lettering and I decided to take some of my hand lettering and create my very own font! Yes! I’ve been working on it for the last couple weeks and I will be ready to start selling it in the next couple weeks. I want to make sure and get it just right. So I’ve been testing it in different programs and creating different projects with it. I pulled out this draw string bag and decided to use my font to give it a little personality!
I had some heat transfer vinyl scraps from the Disney Castle t-shirts I made for my girls. You can see the tutorial on how to work with iron on vinyl in that tutorial. This #fab cut file makes this bag plain bag so much more fun! Perfect to fill with your friends favorite treats for their birthday.
Download the free cut file and personalize a gift bag with heat transfer vinyl of your own. You can download the file using the link below.
I thought it turned out so cute, I sent the cut file to my friend Laura from Pink Cake Plate and you have see the project she created. It turned out really cute. Make sure and check out how she turned a Yeti Tumbler from drab to fab.
I can’t wait to get the font all finished and available for you all so you can create your own projects with it.
Happy Crafting!
Liz
