This Sonic copycat cranberry limeade is a great alternative to cola and a perfect drink for winter.
I am a Pepsi girl. GASP! I’m sorry all you Diet Coke fans. But I love Pepsi. However, I haven’t had a Pepsi in almost 3 years. I decided to stop drinking it when I was pregnant with my baby. I actually decided to cut out caffeine while I was pregnant and after I had the baby, I continued to not drink caffeine.
So now it’s been almost 3 years and I haven’t had a Pepsi. Sometimes it still just doesn’t seem right to eat a bean burrito from Taco Bell without a cold Pepsi. 🙂 Now don’t get me wrong, I still drink soda, but just not caffeinated sodas. Some day I hope to cut out soda all together, but I just love that fizz! So I find myself still making runs to Sonic. Cherry limeades were my go to for the longest time. But a few months ago, my friend had me try a cranberry limeade and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I think it is the perfect refreshing drink for the winter season since cranberries are so festive. I mean it looks like Christmas!
Cranberry Limeade Recipe

Ingredients
- 64 oz bottle cranberry juice
- 2 liter bottle lemon lime soda
- 2 limes
- ice
Instructions
- In a large pitcher mix together cranberry juice and the juice of 2 limes.
- Add cold lemon lime soda right before serving.

This would be a fun drink for a party, but you could also make just a single serving for yourself or to share with a friend. To make a single serving, mix 3/4 cup cranberry juice, 1/4 of a fresh lime juiced and 12 oz can of lemon lime soda. If you buy a big bag of ice from Sonic, it’ll seem like it came right from the store!
