We are finally recovered from the stomach bug that plagued our house all last week.
Nothing beats a warm bowl of soup when you are feeling bad.
But I wanted to make something special to go along with our soup.
One of our local BBQ places makes a green chile corn bread that I love.
I have been wanting to make some at home and found a couple recipes to try out.
I liked parts of the recipe, but didn’t love the final taste.
So I took parts from 2 different recipes and was able to make a pretty good green chile corn bread.
It went together perfectly with our Pasta Fagioli soup.

Soup is one of my go to meals, but it’s always nice to add a little something extra to go along with it.
Next time I will make it with some chili.
