It’s a Pumpkin inspired Tasty Tuesday today!!
This is a yummy pumpkin cake that my mom has made for years and I decided to mix it up and add a fun cinnamon swirl to it to give it some added cinnamon flavor.
Plus, anything baked in a jar, is just extra special!
I mean who wouldn’t want to dive right into this deliciousness?!?!
I found these 8 oz jars at Hobby Lobby.
The cinnamon swirl comes from a mixture of butter, sugar and cinnamon that is put onto the cake batter right before it goes into the oven. When it’s baked, it looks like this.
You don’t have to bake it in a jar, you can also bake it in a jelly roll pan.
Look at that frosting getting down into the cake where the cinnamon swirl was!
YUM YUM!!

This cake is easy to make and is a crowd pleaser!
It is just perfect for fall.
Happy Baking!
