My husband loves anything served in a bread bowl.
He is not so much a fan of seafood, but like I said, in a bread bowl, he will eat anything.
As long as it is food! 🙂
A few months ago we went to Boston and whenever I am in a town that is near the ocean, I want to eat seafood. Of course he was down with that if he could get some clam chowder (in a bread bowl).
After that trip, I realized that I have never actually made clam chowder (nor has my dad who makes some of the best soups I’ve ever had), and it was high time I did. My dad and I found a recipe here and we adjusted it to our liking.
This recipe is full of hearty vegetables, yummy clams and wonderful flavor!
Not too clammy.
Served in a delicious bread bowl from the bakery, you can top it with sour cream, cheese and chives.
It really makes this clam chowder hit the spot!Happy Cooking!
