It’s Tuesday!
What are you cooking up tonight?
I’ve had a busy week and wanted to share something quick, easy and filling.
My mom used to make this meal on a weekly basis. Maybe that is why as an adult I still love sloppy joes!
It doesn’t take a lot of prep time and my kids really like the cheese on it!
I’ve tried a couple different sloppy joe mixes, but this is my favorite.
I just follow the simple instructions on the back of the package.
I like to use ground turkey so it makes it a little healthier right?!?
1 pound browned ground turkey
1 package McCormick Sloppy Joe Seasoning
6 oz can of tomato paste
1 cup of water
mix it all together and let it simmer for 10 minutes
Serve it on a hamburger bun and cover with a slice of cheese.
That melted cheese really “tops” it off! 😉
I usually serve it with green beans or fresh fruit.
This really is such a great meal for our family. Hopefully your family will love it too!
Happy Cooking!

I’ve never thought to put cheese on it, but why not? Cheese makes everything better!

I’ve never tried the sloppy joe mix—I always use the Manwich can. I may have to try this and WITH cheese on it—hmm, this may be in my menu plan next week!
