Tasty Tuesday - Key Lime Pie

Today is the last week of Pie Month!!

I know I’ve been a little quiet this last week and a half, but our family just returned from a super fun vacation! (More of which I will share later. It involved Disney!)

It also involved a stop to Key West Florida.

Which is why today I’m sharing this yummy

Key Lime Pie.

While in Key West I picked up a bottle of Key West Key Lime Juice.

(a request from my dad)

My family loves key lime pie and if we can find the juice, my mom will whip up a yummy pie for our family dinner nights. So of course while I was there, I had to get the juice so I could make this pie.

We are always trying new Key Lime Pie recipes and this one is pretty good.

Tart and delicious.

If you like key lime and cream cheese, you are sure to like this pie.

I thought it would be fun to add a vanilla wafer to the bottom of a cupcake liner as the crust of the pie.

Topped with a little whip cream and slice of lime,

the hubs loved this pie!!

(that is my ultimate test, if he doesn’t like it, he will let me know)
