I received free products in order to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own.
I love hosting get togethers. I enjoy inviting my friends over for a fun time with good food. When it’s Disney theme and we invite kids too, it’s even better! My family recently went on a trip to Disneyland. As I was planning our #DisneySide Party, I drew my inspiration from our latest trip.
While at Disneyland, we made reservations to have breakfast at the Plaza Inn with Minnie and Friends.
The kids loved seeing their favorite characters and we all LOVED the breakfast. When I received an awesome box full of Disney party goods from Disney Parks and Mom Select to host a #Disneyside Party, I knew I wanted to have our own breakfast with Mickey and friends party!
I used all the party goods/supplies I received for our food table. We had Mickey waffles and Minnie Muffins. You can’t have breakfast with Mickey and Friends and NOT have Mickey waffles. That waffle iron I got for Christmas came in handy! Thanks SIL! 🙂
We had a variety of toppings for our waffles including regular maple syrup, buttermilk syrup and strawberries and cream!
To drink, we had juice for the kids and sunshine berry spritzer for the moms. Of course we named it Donald’s sunshine spritzer for the party.
My favorite thing on the table was probably these Mickey Mouse pop tarts. They were so easy to make and since they were on a stick and had sprinkles, they were a hit with the kids!
We used our Mickey cake pan as our fruit serving tray.
I know most of you don’t have cake for breakfast. (and if you do, you’re my kind of people) But what’s a party with out a cake?!?! Especially one so festive.
My kids had so much fun helping me make this cake! It is a Duff brand tie dye cake mix and it turned out so fun! And it tasted good!
They couldn’t wait to get there hands on that cake!
We played pinned the mouth on Mickey and Mickey and friends Go Fish game.
The kids had fun playing games, running around and checking out all the cool prizes they got. Mickey pencils, stickers, necklaces, color books and even the moms liked their prizes too! 🙂
I don’t know who had a better time, the moms or the kids! Thanks to Disney Parks and Mom Select a fun time was had by all.
I think we should have breakfast with Mickey and Friends everyday!
Happy Partying!
Liz
